This bathroom created in 2012 was part of the “Plum Tree House” project in Vernon BC. Surrounded by nature, where most of the inspiration came from, also was considered the personalities of each family member. In this bathroom the subject matter is the native evergreen shrub “Oregon Grape”.

Working from raw clay allows me to create many shapes and forms in architectural ceramics such as this curved style mirror. The lilac borders are hand extruded and bend to the desire shape. The leaves pattern is indented in the clay for a more realistic look.
