In 2009, my son Max designed the doorway for my ceramic studio. It was a lot of fun to worked together and complete the project, Max was 14 years old at the time. We started with a slab of clay as big as the design called for, working our way on the different surfaces textures needed to achieve the look and feeling we were after. The doorway has been assembled considering the possibility to be move to a new location.
