Created in 1996 – Located in the old train station in Vernon BC, was the entrance of the Studio 101 Design, an Interior Design Group now part of MQN Architecture & Interior Design. Inspired by the mangrove ecosystems in the Florida Keys. All the tiles are handmade in the studio and glazed to specification with the addition of pebble stones. We install our own projects, so we can take care of the final details. When I visit a coffee shop in the building I smile to see that after 23 years of public use this floor mural is still intact.
